Characteristics

Magnesite was scientifically examined for the first time in 1808, and it was found that it consists almost entirely of magnesium. Because of its high heat resistance, it is also used in the processing of special glasses, porcelain glazes and refractory bricks. In the pharmaceutical industry, the precious stone from Greece is used as a supplier of magnesium. It probably got its name from the region of Thessaly in Greece.
