Arfvedsonit is a rather rarely occurring mineral from the mineral class of "silicates and germanates". Arfvedsonite got its name from the Swedish chemist Johan Arfvedson. The stone has so far been found in the USA, Canada, Russia, Germany, South Africa, Norway and Greenland.
